Originally built in 1906, ‘Bowman Lofts’ was the first brick building built on Beatty Street in the area is now known as Crosstown. It was expanded in 1914 and was used as warehouse and commercial space over the following years, before in 2007 being rebuilt with concrete additions and 38 unique lofts and spaces were created.
Many of the suites are true two level lofts, some with large terraces, and a common roof top deck with expansive city views.
The inside of the suites offer great touches of the original structure with added concrete features, and contemporary dry wall. From sand blasted timber beams and column, brick and concrete features walls, steel cross beams and braces, to refinished Douglas fir wood floors. The Bowman Lofts offer amongst the best finishes in contemporary loft conversions in the City of Vancouver.
