NEIGHBOURHOOD
The West End is known for being a quiet, almost solely residential area on the southwestern quadrant of downtown. Residents love it because it’s close to all downtown amenities, plus close to the beach, Seawall, and famous English Bay, but it’s also charming with very few busy streets and traffic.

MORTGAGE CALCULATION

One of the most beautiful and special pieces of land in the country: the West End in Vancouver – a neighbourhood where it can (currently) be very challenging to find high-end designer homes in restored freehold buildings. Look no further.
Suite 1102 at the Sandpiper has been truly re-imagined. The flooring throughout is engineered oak hardwood. The ceilings were smoothed, and recessed lighting was added. Custom millwork wall treatments were designed, along with custom shelving and storage systems. There are ‘smart’ switches throughout, and contemporary roller blinds for all windows.
The galley kitchen was opened up, with a concrete pillar exposed and integrated into the home’s design. A central objective with this transformation was that the kitchen and the living space doors were to be designed such that the living space really felt like one big, sleek, comfortable living room when the doors were closed. As such, the kitchen is fully integrated with oak cabinetry with oak panel millwork as the backsplash. The kitchen has the appearance of a custom built-in storage wall. Similarly, the hall closet and bathroom doors became sliding oak door panels, disappearing when closed. The sliding door tracks are recessed, also hidden away.
Blomberg refrigerator, Fisher & Paykel dishwasher are integrated, and an AEG cooktop and Fagor wall oven round out this well appointed appliance package. Under-cabinet lighting adds to an understated ambience at night and a fully custom-built dining table and benches were fitted for the home and serve a multitude of purposes. (This gorgeous piece is available for purchase.)
The bathroom walls are a combination of tile, millwork, and subtle Venetian plaster, and the oversized walk-in shower provides a sleek and comfortable experience. The floating vanity is extra-wide and under-lit, and offers excellent storage. All fixtures are by Hansgrohe. Retreat to the bedroom and enjoy the extra deep custom built-in closet organizers. The custom designed and built bed is available for purchase. The patio has deck tiling and integrated lighting, and offers beautiful views of English Bay. The suite faces west, and enjoys some great views of English Bay.
