Sub-Penthouse Sale

Shawn Brown of the West Haven Group had the pleasure of working with an amazing client on her first purchase in Vancouver! She was looking for a special condo in Olympic Village, and they sure found it! They secured this sub-penthouse in the Wall Centre False Creek complex, which features AMAZING (and protected) False Creek, Science World, downtown, and North Shore mountain views. The Olympic Village is a very dense residential area, so views are very hard to come by, let alone the coveted downtown northwest views. This sub-penthouse also has a huge rooftop terrace in a functional rectangle shape – space for an outdoor living area plus a dining area for six. Terraces on both the north and west sides of the suite means gorgeous light and a lovely cross-breeze. Congratulations to this lovely, intelligent, and accomplished client on her purchase of this special Olympic Village gem!

Olympic Village

The Olympic Village (which has since expanded outward from the initial core development) was developed by Millennium Development Group. It is one of the greenest communities in the world, utilizing solar panels, green roofs, and the Southeast False Creek Neighbourhood Energy Utility. The Neighbourhood Energy Utility (NEU) generates heat in two renewable ways: solar thermal collectors on the roofs of many of the Olympic Village buildings, and most interestingly, a sewage waste heat pump system. Here, heat from untreated sewage waste is recovered and used as an energy source for the Olympic Village development. In fact, this sewage heat recovery system supplies approximately 70% of the Southeast False Creek development. Intriguing!
